Biografische Anmerkung

In the first book, Devotional Talks for the Busy Leader, and the second book, Bible Studies for the Busy Leader, the author sought to bring easy reading material to those who chose to explore the word of God. Again in this book, easy reading material has been produced, in essence, making God's word easier to understand.
More Devotional Talks and More Bible Studies have been added to those already produced to take those who seek further enlightenment on a journey only God can make happen through the Holy Spirit. As with all the previous writings, what is done with the revelations revealed is the most important issue we can embrace in our spiritual lives. It is all about God and nothing about the individual. To those who seek, with all their heart will be rewarded by God, revealing secrets to them through the Holy Spirit in his time and at his pace. It is a learning and growing process.
Through these easy-read talks and studies, the author hopes to awaken a keener interest in the word of life. Our spiritual life and the teaching combined should take us to heights we would never have expected for those who are of the called.
While much happens in our lives, the author has shared his own life and how God has worked through many channels to bring the revealed word into his life. While his journey or walk has always been about trust in a God to direct his life, the way God chose to do this has, in hindsight, left the author with a sense of "Why me?"
As you read, may you to experience the riches of God's word, as he reveals himself to your own heart.

Warren Ravenscroft was born into a Christian home in Murwillumbah at 7:15 a.m. on a Sunday, February 27, 1949. Being blessed with Christian parents, he was dedicated back to God and attended the Salvation Army. His Christian beliefs are all based on the Bible and the doctrine of the Salvation Army. His early childhood was at the Sandgate Salvation Army, then at Nundah, and finally, at the Brisbane City Temple, where he enjoyed playing various instruments in the Temple Band. In December 1972, Warren married Diane Forrester, who was a Salvationist from the Dulwich Hill Temple Corps. They were blessed with three children: Wayne, Troy, and Kelly. Their children were also trained in the ways and beliefs of the Salvation Army. March 1980 saw this family answering the call to full-time work as officers in the Salvation Army, being trained for service at the Bexley Training College. They were part of the God's Soldiers session. Due to ill health in 1985, the return to the occupations of previous employment was necessary. Both never lost their call to full-time service and endeavored to carry this out to the best of their abilities. Kelly, their youngest daughter, later married Scott, a Salvationist from the Mt. Gravatt Corps. Two grandchildren, Zoë and Ryan, blessed this family unit. It was on August 3, 2011 that God called Diane home to be with himself. Though this was unexpected, God, being faithful, has since enabled Warren to devote much time to his Bible and the inspirations given by the Holy Spirit. Warren saw his spiritual gifts as faith, teaching, helping, and pastoring. He sought to use these through preparing and presenting his own Bible studies, meetings, and devotion times. Prayer played a great part in his life, relying on God to supply his needs; but as most do, he tried to help God on various occasions, only to be rebuked for his efforts and told by God to leave it to Him. Warren has tried, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to give a different view and teaching to this material. All scriptures are from the New King James spirit-filled study Bible. Doctrines referred to are those of the Salvation Army. Songs are from the 1986 Edition Song Book of the Salvation Army. Officers mentioned are presently serving, retired, or promoted to glory from active work in the Salvation Army.
